Last month technology website Techradar reported on a study which found that in 2008 total music revenues in the UK had actually increased by 4.7% despite the prevalence of P2P illegal downloading. The study was undertaken by Chief Economist Will Page at PRS for Music a UK group which collects royalties. The report detailed the decline of music sales by 6% and an increase in concert ticket sales of 13%.
